The Victorian Energy Upgrades programme can help you save your energy costs, save money on upgrade costs, and benefit the environment.

Energy Monitors or In-home displays will help you monitor and check your household energy use by showing the data from your smart meter. While smart meter measures and relays your electricity consumption only.

We will give you Emerald Planet's Energy Monitor or an in-home display with an app to assist you lower your bill by showing you how much energy you use.

HOW DOES THE IN-HOME DISPLAY OR ENERGY MONITOR WORK?

The Energy Monitor from Emerald Planet connects directly to your home's smart electricity metre and transmits data to your phone or other device of choice, tracking and reporting on electricity usage in real time.

The receiver receives consumption data from the sensor through the transmitter. (via Bluetooth or WiFi network). Your PC or smartphone can be the receiver.

WHY IT IS FREE?

We are one of the approved companies, and it is free under the Victorian Energy Upgrade Program, which is exclusively available to residents of Victorian.

WHAT IS THE VICTORIAN ENERGY UPGRADE PROGRAM?

This programme from the Victorian government assists people and companies in lowering their electricity costs and greenhouse gas emissions. By giving customers access to cheap goods and services, it does this.

Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Act 2007 (the Act) and commenced on 1 January 2009. The scheme is administered in accordance with the Act, the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Regulations 2008 and the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (Project-Based Activities) Regulations 2017.

The VEU Program aims to reduce the cost of energy efficiency upgrades, help cut greenhouse gas emissions, and promote investment, employment, and innovation in sectors that offer energy efficiency products and services.
